Tree of Hope are a UK based charity who dedicate their work to fund medical treatment for children which isn’t available on the NHS. The charity needed a low cost way to contact their database of supporters to push online donations and send reminders for fundraising events.
Taking advantage of the rise of smartphones, Tree of Hope entered links to their online donation page in their text messages. Supporters were able to click the link and make their donation straight away.
The charity was able to send 3000 text messages to their database of supporters for less than £100
