MDH Recruitment improves response rates using SMS

MDH Recruitment cover the whole of Scotland, specialising in providing temporary and permanent recruitment solutions for clients and candidates alike. Workers are recruited for a wide range of areas from warehousing and logistics to production, manufacturing and engineering.

Challenge

The biggest challenge MDH Recruitment had as a business when trying to contact their current employees or recruiting new staff was that people generally do not pick up on emails whereas they are more likely to see and respond to a text message.

Another issue arose with the business mobiles being used to send bulk SMS to employees and possible candidates. The network provider put a limit on the number of messages that could be sent within a certain time-period. This hindered the recruitment process as timing is crucial and they couldn’t send texts to the large volumes of potential new candidates.

As most phone providers have the same restrictions, MDH Recruitment decided an SMS messaging platform would be more beneficial ultimately choosing Textlocal as the best option for their business needs.
