GroundScope provide an online bookable managed ground transport service. This includes business taxis, chauffeur driven cars and coaches for major companies.
As part of their service GroundScope needed to ensure that they sent customers confirmation of their bookings, and provided reassurance that their vehicle and/or chauffeur would arrive on time.
Groundscope automatically sent a text to a customer 30 minutes before their collection time.
This text has many uses. It includes the telephone number of the car driver, it reminds the customer of their booking and it puts the traveller and driver in direct contact, proving vital in busy airports and cities.
Textlocal’s API Gateway allowed all updates and texts to happen automatically resulting in labour cost savings and greater efficiency of service.
