Consultancy firm Mott MacDonald have chosen Textlocal to deliver SMS marketing campaigns on behalf of their client Norfolk County Council. The Council are trialling an SMS texting service which has been set up to inform staff at Norfolk University Hospital of any disruptions to bus times.
The Mottmac group have integrated the Textlocal service with up to the minute alerts from bus operators, so that automatic SMS messages are sent directly to Hospital Staff as soon as any bus changes are made. Feedback from bus users receiving the alerts has been very positive, with many recipients welcoming the early notification of bus changes.
